NEW ORLEANS MANOR CHRISTMAS PARTY PROCEDURES For the 2007 Season

We strive to make every Christmas party at the New Orleans Manor a pleasant and memorable experience. The following procedures are designed to help you plan and enjoy a worry-free party:

YOUR COST: The 'Seafood Feast' buffet dinner, including appetizers through desserts, coffee, tea, and milk is $34.50 per person. After you add tax and tip your cost will be about $ per person. There are additional charges for soft-drinks, alcoholic beverages, and additional entrees. You can control these charges by: For beverages; 1. Allow guests to order any beverage except specific high priced brandies or bottles of champagne. 2. Pre-select wines that guests may order by the bottle or by the glass. 3. Purchase only soft drinks for guests. 4. Have guests pay for their own soft-drinks and alcohol. For the additional entrees of Whole Maine Lobster or Lobster Tail; 1. Offer additional entrees to guests and allow all to order. 2. Don't mention additional entrees, but serve any guests that request them. 3. Make additional entrees unavailable, or have guests pay for their own.

GRATUITY: Gratuity will not be automatically added to your guest check. 'Your Cost' (above) includes gratuity only to help you budget your party. Our well trained and experienced servers work primarily for gratuities and 15% is customary for good service. If you feel your service is substandard, then please discuss it with the floor manager so we can correct any deficiencies. On the other hand, if your service is superior, any additional gratuity will be greatly appreciated.

DEPOSITS: Parties of ten or more must send a deposit of fifteen dollars per guest within two weeks after making your reservation. If you call after November 1st, we ask for a credit card deposit at the time you make the reservation. Your deposit will be applied toward your guest-check total.

PRIVATE ROOMS: Because all parties share the same buffet and mingle with other guests, most parties find it unnecessary to be private. If you must have a private room, this may incur a 15$ per empty chair charge if your total party does not show up. Please avoid this fee by getting an accurate count, ask your guests for a commitment to attend, and give a two week notice of any count changes.

PAYMENT: Use cash, Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club, Discover, Carte Blanche, American Express, or travelers checks to pay the balance of your guest check on the evening of your party. If you want to use a company check or set up a direct charge, please get approval well in advance. Separate Checks are not provided for parties of ten or more, so if your guests are paying for themselves please have one person in your group collect the funds in advance.

SEATING TIMES: On Saturdays in December there are two seating times for parties. One and a half to two hours is ample time for most parties. Saturday First seating: Reservations will be taken at 5:00 or 5:30 and must be finished by 7:30. Saturday Second Seating: Reservations will be taken at 8:00 and may dine until closing. SEATING YOUR PARTY: We arrange tables for each specific reservation to maximize social interaction, guest comfort, efficient service and smooth traffic flow. Your party will be seated together in the same area of the same room.

CARRY-IN BEVERAGES: Licenses do not allow customers to carry-in beverages such as bottled wines and special punches. Partially consumed bottles of wine purchased with dinner may be carried out.

STAIRS: About one third of the seating is on the second floor, so let us know if your guests include handicapped, elderly, pregnant, or anyone who has difficulty with stairs. The first floor is accessible by wheel chair but the restrooms are not.

NON-SMOKING AREAS: The New Orleans Manor is smoke free due to TN laws.

DECORATIONS: All dining areas are decorated for the Christmas season. You may bring additional decorations, like small flower arrangements, but please don't tape signs or banners to the wallpaper or hang objects from the chandeliers or pictures.

THANK YOU for considering the New Orleans Manor for your holiday celebration. We look forward to serving you and making your Christmas party a cheerful and memorable experience. If you have any questions, please call us at (615) 367-2777
